The MTV Awards just aired last night and there were a lot of highlights throughout the night. I first want to talk about the leading lady and host of the show this year Ms. Keke Palmer. Palmer has always been one of my favorite people on this planet and this was for sure the best gig for her yet. The 27-year-old knows how to keep it light and fun and did an overall great job at keeping the show alive.
For the opening show performances there were some great ones but my favorite had to be Chloe x Halle. The sister duo performed their song "Ungodly Hour" and the two look like goddesses in real life. Aside from their appearance being super classy as always, their performance of the song was amazing and I hope these two get more recognition in the music game because they are FIRE.

As for the main show there were a couple of performances that were great and I want to start off with The Weeknd. Aside from "Blinding Lights" being an amazing song, he did a really great performance of the song. Do want to note that his performance almost looked like a second music video to the song and I want to give him that praise because he did have a fantastic visual for the performance as well.

Another performance that was great was the host Keke Palmer. Keke performed her new single "Snack" and Keke always has such a great energy on and off stage and I thought her performance was really good. Keke used a variety of bright colors and I thought it was a really good performance overall and she deserves way more credit not only for her music but her dancing skills as well.

Before I get to my favorite performance I do want to say that Miley Cyrus did a really good job with her new song "Midnight Sky" the song is really good and the music video was amazing and the live performance was good. It did look as if it could have been a music video too but I thought the The Weeknd did a little better at that but she still was really good. I was happy to see The Black Eyed Peas back though I wish Fergie was still in the group but the new member did a really good job, JP Saxe and Julia Michaels had a good performance as well. I liked BTS' performance too of their single "Dynamite" but it seemed kind of like a "cookie cutter" performance but their dance moves were still great and they did a good job. Doja Cat also did very well and I hope she does get more popular as time goes on.
My final performance that I loved were Lady Gaga & Ariana Grande. The duo did perform together (with masks on of course) and I thought their overall energy in the performance was amazing. There was one thing that I wasn't sure on and that was when Ariana hit a very high note that was sustained very well but because she had a mask on, many people did question if she actually sang it or not. I will say this Grande does have a higher voice and she does have a dcent amount of power with it so I don't know if she did actually sing it but it sounded like it to me so will give her that. This was also Gaga's first performance to the MTV awards since 2009 and I'm glad she is performing her newer music but I would've loved to hear "Bad Romance" or "Paparazzi" if I'm being honest but they did well.

Anyways let me know what you all thought of these performers yesterday and leave a comment below on who was your favorite.
Hello everybody welcome back to my blog. The singer and Pussycat Doll Carmit Bachar just dropped a new music video. The 46-year-old released her cover of the Chris Brown classic "Questions" and the visual and vocals of her performance are on point. She says, “Big love to all the incredible people involved in this project!!!! Thank you! This release is in collaboration with Commercial Dance Intensive’s ‘Dancing With An Artist Experience’ Filmed 2019 in Santa Barbara, California.” The sultry video was shot at a beachy location in the sun. Bachar can be seen rocking different ensembles while performing choreography throughout. Check out the video below. What do you think of Carmit's cover? Comment below.
Hello everybody welcome back to my blog. Actor Joshua Bassett just recently had a coming out video where he talks about acceptance of love. The 20-year-old did an interview about this followed by an Instagram post afterwards explaining that he "chooses love" (so he could be bi or queer). He said, “My entire life people have told me my sexuality,” he wrote. “People have shamed me for things they know nothing about. I want to say thank you to those of you who stand for love and acceptance.” He added, “Love who you love shamelessly. It’s ok to still be figuring out who you are. Life’s too short to let ignorance and hatred win. I choose love.” He also talked about Harry Styles recently as well about how much he admired the singer. He said, “What I admire about Harry Styles is that he’s a very classy man, and he’s very well-rounded” and added, “He’s just cool. ... Who doesn’t think Harry Styles is cool? Also, he’s hot, you know?” “He’s very charming, too,” he added. “Lots of thing
Hello everybody welcome back to my blog. Keri Hilson is finally opening about her past "beef" with Beyonce. The 38-year-old actress and singer-songwriter recently did an interview for her new TV movie Lust and someone had asked her about her past "beef" with Beyonce. For those that don't know back in 2010, a version of Keri's song "Turnin' Me On" was remixed to "Turnin' Me Off" and it basically dissed both Beyonce and singer Ciara in the track. The beehive fanbase was not happy about this and basically trashed and almost ruined Keri Hilson's reputation after it was leaked online. Keri had opened up about it a few months ago saying that if she didn't do the song they were going to blackball her. Unfortunately for Keri, she was blackballed anyway from the industry. Keri actually dealt with depression after this and it eventually lead her to take a break from music completely. (Which is sad because she has some of the best m
