Hello everybody welcome back to my blog. Today's topic is a bit big but it all revolves around Justin Bieber. The 27-year-old has been accused of cultural appropriation. The singer-songwriter has just recently changed his hairstyle and posted pics onto Instagram with tons of backlash. Bieber had his dreadlocks tied back into pigtails and was wearing a fairly funky outfit consisting of high socks, red shorts, a checkered pink shirt and red sunglasses. Bieber posted his look once again later in the day, sharing a caption less, straight-faced selfie where his dreadlocks were on full display. One fan wrote, “Honey, I love you but this ain’t,” and another chimed in with, “This one could’ve stayed in the drafts.” The outrageous look even had one user asking, “Everything good JB?” Others were more explicit with their dissapproval. “This is cultural appropriation … I know you can do better,” one person writes. Hello everybody welcome back to my blog. Justin Bieber just recently released his sixth studio album Justice  back on Friday. The 27-year-old released the album with many fans wondering if the song "Ghost" is about Selena Gomez. I first want to say that lyrically this album is much improved since Changes  last year but it still isn't my favorite album of his but it is good so I do recommend this record (I still think Purpose  is his best work by far) but this album fits really well too. The song "Peaches" was actually my least favorite on the album believe it or not I love Daniel Caesar though but the song isn't great to me. Anyway moving onto a hot topic about the song "Ghost." "Ghost" is actually a really great song to me but many fans are wondering if the song is about his ex Selena Gomez. Hello everybody welcome back to my blog. Selena Gomez just recently hinted that she may be retiring from music FOR GOOD. NOOOOO! The 28-year-old singer, actress and producer had recently done an interview and she mentioned how she feels people don't take her as a serious artist and says that people can be over critical of her music saying she is not enough. Selena said, "It’s hard to keep doing music when people don’t necessarily take you seriously, I’ve had moments where I’ve been like, 'What’s the point? Why do I keep doing this?' 'Lose You to Love Me' I felt was the best song I’ve ever released, and for some people it still wasn’t enough. I think there are a lot of people who enjoy my music, and for that I’m so thankful, for that I keep going, but I think the next time I do an album it’ll be different. Hello everybody welcome back to my blog. Selena Gomez recently released a new single called "De Una Vez." The 28-year-old released the song earlier this month and fans have been going crazy for it. This is Selena's first spanish singing single since the spanish version of "A Year Without Rain" (titled: Un Año Sin Lluvia") back in 2010. "De Una Vez" is about themes of love, self-worth, emotional growth, and empowerment. It is a song that helped Selena move on from her past. The music video shows tons of magical realism with many different visuals and tons of symbolism. In the video, Selena traverses through many rooms in a mystical house, depicting her creative and personal growth using metaphors that reflect on her evolution. Hello everybody and welcome to my blog. Today's post is going to be about Selena Gomez's sixth studio album Rare which released about a year ago. The album is probably one of my favorite albums to come from 2020 and I wanted to share my top five songs from the album. 5. A Sweeter Place "A Sweeter Place" comes in at number 5 on the list. The song featured Kid Cudi and song itself is about finally find peace and happiness after the many traumas that both Gomez and Cudi experienced individually. Cudi's experience with rehab and Gomez's experience dealing with lupus were just two things that they both had/have to deal with. 4. Let Me Get Me "Let Me Get Me" comes in at number 4 of my top 5 from Rare . This song is about not letting anyone get to her because she had already been doing so in past. It has been over 7-years since her last single "Gold" and she recently returned with her new song "Treat Myself." The 27-year-old released the song as well as the music video about a a couple of weeks ago and the song talks about treating herself better. Vocally, Justice does an amazing job as she is somewhat similar to Julia Michaels and Selena Gomez but to me seems to fit the soft pop genre a bit better. I already know that people are going to try to compare her to Ariana Grande and I'm going to stop that there because both of them are VERY different artistically.   Hello everybody welcome to my blog, there are two topics I want to touch on today. First, Nicole Scherzinger gets dragged by fans of Mary J. Blige after guessing that she was the Popcorn on the Masked Singer  on Wednesday. The 42-year-old singer had guessed that Popcorn was Blige on TV and also on her twitter. "I really think that #PopcornMask could be @maryjblige!! Who do y'all think it is?" she wrote. Fans of Blige started bashing Scherzinger and some even said that she should be kicked off the show. Here are some of the responses In response to Nicole's guess, one fan tweeted: "Nicole Scherzinger needs to be kicked off the show. Mary J. Blige, really?! #TheMaskedSinger." Hello everybody, I wasn't going to talk about this but more information came out about it so I decided to start this discussion about a recent topic from E!News  that recently came out and it involves Demi Lovato and her fiance Max Ehrich. For those who don't know, Lovato has been engaged to the former soap opera star Ehrich for about six months and a recent article came out about Ehrich having a huge love for singer/actress Selena Gomez. Max allegedly posted that he wanted to "marry Selena Gomez" as well as other stars like Gigi Hadid, Ariana Grande and Miley Cyrus but people really gunned him about Gomez. After everything was starting to come out on twitter (one site I don't love), Ehrich deleted his account and Lovato went on her Instagram story to say all the "posts" he made were "fake."   Selena Gomez recently opened up about feeling "pressured" into trying to be "overtly sexy" during her time her album Revival  released in 2015. The 28-year-old singer/actress/producer recently told the magazine Allure  that this was not the image she was trying to go for and I wondered if her record label was trying to tell her otherwise.  Both Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus have released new music back in August and I'm curious to know which song do you like better. I'll start with Selena's new song "Ice Cream." Though it is not officially her song it is her collaboration with the k-pop group BLACKPINK. I personally really loved the song in particular the music video. The video had lots of bright colors and all the girls seemed to have a great time on set. Check out the video here Now I want to move onto Miley's new single "Midnight Sky." Demi Lovato speaks about about her fiance saying he wants to "marry" Selena Gomez in old tweets that went viral this weekend. Lovato spoke out about the posts saying that they were "fake" and people really need to focus on other issues in 2020 which I do agree. The 28-year-old went onto her Instagram story to make things clear about the alleged tweets her soon to be husband had said. "It’s really sad when people FAKE images to put women against each other. Selena Gomez is opening up about her dating life! While promoting her new Rare Beauty makeup products in a video with NikkieTutorials, the 28-year-old entertainer dished on her personal life. When talking about the bond she shares with her makeup artist Hung Vanngo, Selena said that he would be doing her makeup at her wedding, but jokingly added, “which is never gonna happen!” “It’s hard [to find a man] in quarantine,” she added. “This is also not an invitation.” “It’s just funny that I release things that say I want a boyfriend and stuff… and I’m like, ‘I didn’t really mean it, though.’ Guys are a lot of work,” Selena said. She then added that “every one of my exes think I’m crazy, so, I don’t care.” So I guess that either The Weeknd or Justin Bieber think that Selena's crazy lol totally kidding y'all. Selena Gomez released her single "A Year Without Rain" ten years ago and this song is still one of my favorite songs by her. This song has to do with comparing the yearning of love to a year without rain. Though when this song came out I was only 12, this song spoke to me for some reason and I think it is because it made me believe in love. Not going to lie, this song did help me get through some times in my life and I really loved how the song was used in her show Wizards of Waverly Place  when she was dancing with her warewolf boyfriend and showing everybody he had lots of hair and that she didn't care. This song helped me learn to love no matter how you look or how you are, everyone is beautiful and this song had more of a message than just love. Anyway here is the music video down below.
