Keri Hilson Opens About FAKE Beef With Beyonce & Says She Would Be Open To Working Together

Image
Hello everybody welcome back to my blog. Keri Hilson is finally opening about her past "beef" with Beyonce. The 38-year-old actress and singer-songwriter recently did an interview for her new TV movie Lust  and someone had asked her about her past "beef" with Beyonce. For those that don't know back in 2010, a version of Keri's song "Turnin' Me On" was remixed to "Turnin' Me Off" and it basically dissed both Beyonce and singer Ciara in the track. The beehive fanbase was not happy about this and basically trashed and almost ruined Keri Hilson's reputation after it was leaked online. Keri had opened up about it a few months ago saying that if she didn't do the song they were going to blackball her. Unfortunately for Keri, she was blackballed anyway from the industry. Keri actually dealt with depression after this and it eventually lead her to take a break from music completely. (Which is sad because she has some of the best m...

Small Grammy's Overview: Wins For Beyonce, Harry Styles, Megan Thee Stallion & Snubs For Doja Cat & BTS

Hello everybody welcome back to my blog. Today's topic will actually be a small rundown of the Grammy's. Just a couple of wins and snubs that I want to go over with everyone today. So I want to talk about some wins on Sunday first with Harry Styles. Harry Styles won Best Solo Pop Performance which I think was a wonderful choice. His entire album Fine Line is probably one of the best albums to have been released in 2019 and I'm glad he won the award because this is his first Grammy win. Also, Billie Eilish won Record Of The Year which she was deserving of as well I would've been okay with Megan Thee Stallion won that category but I'm glad Billie did too. Megan Thee Stallion did win multiple awards last night with Best New Artist, Best Rap Performance & Best Rap Song so I'm really happy for Megan because she has had a fantastic year and musically I hope we see more from her. Also, Beyonce won the last two awards with Megan as well as Best R&B Performance t...

The Weeknd's Super Bowl Performance Was Pretty Good But...

Image
Hello everybody welcome back to my blog. The POP-RNB The Weeknd had recently performed this weekend for the Super Bowl and overall he did really well. The 30-year-old singer had performed many of his hits and overall had a decent set. His vocals were actually very well as I know some people don't always perform live (no offence Jennifer Lopez), but you could tell he was singing live with some enhancements here and there for effect. During the performance, he was dancing a bit on stage and then in other parts of it, he had went into a smaller room area where he performed "Can't Feel My Face" with his bandage look-a-likes and they looked like they were having a good time. However, The Weeknd's eye contact was a bit intense at times. I know we are still in a global pandemic and there is now to little audience where he was, however, the way he looked at the camera was a bit forced like he was trying to make sure people were paying attention or something I don't kn...

Toni Braxton: Spell My Name Review - RNB Queen Slays Again

Image
Hello everyone today I did a review on Toni Braxton's new album Spell My Name . Spell My Name  is Braxton's tenth studio album and it released on August 28, 2020. The 52-year-old singer still shows other RNB princesses how the queen does it. Overall this album was very good for her lyrically. A lot of the songs like "Happy Without Me," "Saturday Night," "Gotta Move On" (ft. H.E.R.) & the bonus track "Nothin'" were all in relation about a break up. The album in general talks about a cheating ex and some of these songs represent that. I really liked the writing for the album because it seemed as if it came right from the heart and Braxton herself co-writes every single track aside from the bonus track. Musically this album was AMAZING. I am a sucker for R&B and Ms. Braxton stays true to that. In particular she stuck with 90's R&B which is even more of a favorite of mine. Braxton's musical arrangements were all good b...
