Aly & AJ's "Slow Dancing" & New Version Of "Potential Break-up Song" Is Just What We Need

Hello everybody welcome back to my blog. Today I want to talk about Aly & AJ's new music starting with their single "Slow Dancing."

Like most of their newer work, "Slow Dancing" is a mid 80's ballad that is a soothing love song that incorporates the beauty, fear and yearning that has affected everyone during COVID-19. This song for sure gave positive vibes and I felt the song had a hint of inspiration from John Mayer as this sounds like something he would release too.

Aside from "Slow Dancing" the duo also released a new version of their 2007 smash hit "Potential Break-up Song." This song to date is still one of their most successful songs (and one of my favs I might add) and they have now released a new explicit version of the song with a new sound to it.

They re-created the song with some different lyrics and a new sound but the song is still reminiscent of the original track. I will for sure say that I actually really like this version almost better than the original and with them saying swear words make the song even better.

I'm excited to see what else the duo will be releasing in the future because their new sound is AMAZING. Both their EP's Ten Years (2017) and Sanctuary (2019) as well as their multiple singles have all been great releases and they are doing this independently so make sure to support our girls. Hopefully their longingly awaited fourth studio album will be released this year.

Joshua Bassett Comes Out After Expressing The Love For Harry Styles

Hello everybody welcome back to my blog. Actor Joshua Bassett just recently had a coming out video where he talks about acceptance of love. The 20-year-old did an interview about this followed by an Instagram post afterwards explaining that he "chooses love" (so he could be bi or queer). He said, “My entire life people have told me my sexuality,” he wrote. “People have shamed me for things they know nothing about. I want to say thank you to those of you who stand for love and acceptance.” He added, “Love who you love shamelessly. It’s ok to still be figuring out who you are. Life’s too short to let ignorance and hatred win. I choose love.” He also talked about Harry Styles recently as well about how much he admired the singer. Keri Hilson Opens About FAKE Beef With Beyonce & Says She Would Be Open To Working Together

Hello everybody welcome back to my blog. Keri Hilson is finally opening about her past "beef" with Beyonce. The 38-year-old actress and singer-songwriter recently did an interview for her new TV movie Lust  and someone had asked her about her past "beef" with Beyonce. For those that don't know back in 2010, a version of Keri's song "Turnin' Me On" was remixed to "Turnin' Me Off" and it basically dissed both Beyonce and singer Ciara in the track. The beehive fanbase was not happy about this and basically trashed and almost ruined Keri Hilson's reputation after it was leaked online. Keri had opened up about it a few months ago saying that if she didn't do the song they were going to blackball her. Unfortunately for Keri, she was blackballed anyway from the industry.
