Selena Gomez Says She "Might" Retire From Music & I Can't Take It

Hello everybody welcome back to my blog. Selena Gomez just recently hinted that she may be retiring from music FOR GOOD. NOOOOO!

The 28-year-old singer, actress and producer had recently done an interview and she mentioned how she feels people don't take her as a serious artist and says that people can be over critical of her music saying she is not enough.

Selena said, "It’s hard to keep doing music when people don’t necessarily take you seriously, I’ve had moments where I’ve been like, 'What’s the point? Why do I keep doing this?' 'Lose You to Love Me' I felt was the best song I’ve ever released, and for some people it still wasn’t enough. I think there are a lot of people who enjoy my music, and for that I’m so thankful, for that I keep going, but I think the next time I do an album it’ll be different. I want to give it one last try before I maybe retire music."

So she is still going to give it one last try and I'm actually really sad to be hearing this from her. Selena may not be the best vocalist out there, (in comparison to some of her Disney contemporaries like Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato and Bridgit Mendler) but Selena has very deep and very personal music which I think makes her music different. I'm not saying the other artist don't have personal music but with Selena it seems she gets to have first hand in writing a lot of her music.

I agree that "Lose You To Love Me" is one of her best songs to date there is no doubt about that, however her music has definitely been very healing for me and I'm sure for many others and I hope she will reconsider retiring for good.

Joshua Bassett Comes Out After Expressing The Love For Harry Styles

Hello everybody welcome back to my blog. Actor Joshua Bassett just recently had a coming out video where he talks about acceptance of love. The 20-year-old did an interview about this followed by an Instagram post afterwards explaining that he "chooses love" (so he could be bi or queer). He said, “My entire life people have told me my sexuality,” he wrote. “People have shamed me for things they know nothing about. I want to say thank you to those of you who stand for love and acceptance.” He added, “Love who you love shamelessly. It’s ok to still be figuring out who you are. Keri Hilson Opens About FAKE Beef With Beyonce & Says She Would Be Open To Working Together

Hello everybody welcome back to my blog. Keri Hilson is finally opening about her past "beef" with Beyonce. The 38-year-old actress and singer-songwriter recently did an interview for her new TV movie Lust  and someone had asked her about her past "beef" with Beyonce. For those that don't know back in 2010, a version of Keri's song "Turnin' Me On" was remixed to "Turnin' Me Off" and it basically dissed both Beyonce and singer Ciara in the track. The beehive fanbase was not happy about this and basically trashed and almost ruined Keri Hilson's reputation after it was leaked online.
